Are you stuck for a gift idea for a creative person? Have you considered one of our training gift cards? This is the ideal gift for a creative person who wants to update their skills or expand a hobby or side project.

Too much ‘stuff’

A lot of people don’t want or need any more ‘stuff’ these days. Some might want to avoid clutter, while others, especially young people, might live in a small space or live a more nomadic existence.

Essential skills

Many graduates leave university without the essential digital skills needed to set them on the right career path. By giving them a gift card that develops their creative skills you will give them a gift for life. Creativity is also well known to help mental health.

New year, new start

January is a key month when many people decide to change careers or develop a new skill or hobby. Our creative experiences can help your loved one take that vital first step towards their new career or creative outlet.

Procreate Gift Cards

Our Procreate training is especially popular as a gift. Parents may buy a beginner’s course for a young person who has begun exploring this popular iPad software on their own and reached the limits of their self-teaching. Or, a daughter may buy some sessions for her mum who is a keen artist.

Using Procreate on an iPad with Apple Pencil

Procreate case study

Frank is a recent graduate, working near Cambridge. During lockdown, Frank developed an interest in drawing his local area and started using Procreate on his iPad with the Apple Pencil. He enjoyed experimenting for a while but began to find all the options overwhelming and felt in need of some guidance. Frank’s parents bought him a beginner’s course in Procreate as a birthday present and this is what he has to say:

“Julian was a very friendly and approachable tutor, and I found his explanations of his process and his art very inspiring. He walked me through the software with practical examples, and I now feel I have a good grasp of most aspects of the software – especially after the final assignment he set me, in which I had to create a poster to a brief. I now feel confident using Procreate to practise my drawing skills and to work on my personal projects.”

His parents say:

“Frank lives in a small flat with his girlfriend. We didn’t want to burden them with more ‘stuff’. As he’d bought himself an iPad and Apple Pencil and was getting back into drawing we thought this was the ideal gift.”
